EVERYONE'S NEEDS ARE DIFFERENT SO
EXPERIENCES WILL VARY.
We will start this relaxing experience in a quiet room
with
aromas that calm, surround sound music and soft
lighting. As you lay on your stomach your body melts
into the warm table, the sounds of nature mixed with
instrumental music surround you, helping you escape
from the
external world so that you may focus on your internal
world. Massaging
your back and making a connection with those
stubborn tight and
knotted areas I will use techniques that are effective yet
nurturing. You're sure to feel the weight you have been
carrying, lift as I move to your neck, shoulders and
arms, focusing on your tighter spots when
necessary, with relaxation being our ultimate goal. Your
hips and thighs carry you through out the day and
carry a lot of tension as well, keeping these muscles
loose is a must for a healthy body. The back of your
body is completed with long, flowing Esalen (nurturing)
strokes up and down the length of your body. Now that
you are relaxed I will wipe you down with a warm
towel. Rolling over you will enjoy the warmth on your
back from the table and the wonderful natural music
and serene atmosphere. Beginning with a foot
massage for those tired feet always on the go, then to
your shins and thighs, some light stretching included.
Your stomach holds more tension then you may
realize. By massaging the stomach digestion is
promoted and tension released. Your chest is very
important as it holds behind it your beautiful heart.
Your arms and hands need some care as well,
followed by Esalen style strokes up and down your
body. This sensational,therapeutic massage is
finished by releasing the tension in your neck and
shoulders, followed by loving facial
strokes and then an incredible scalp massage.

When the body
is touched,
receptors in the
skin send
messages to the
brain causing
the release of
chemicals such
as endorphins.
These produce a
sense of
relaxation and
wellbeing and
can also relieve
pain.
